See Baby Animals at Steel Pier

Subject

multi animal statue

Description

This statue of a group animals advertising menagerie at steel pier, Atlantic City, New Jersey is no longer around anywhere. We searched for it and could not locate or figure out what has become of this simple statue. Even though this statue was simple it has other annotations that not many might see from it. Statues and monuments are structures that can last for hundreds of years. People just assume they will be around forever, but this is not true. This statue that was once seen at steel pier is no longer there and at the time can be seen to be in very poor condition, indicated by several animal heads missing. What may have become of it, no one may know, but it is thanks to the work of the FSA photographers that we even know it existed today. Without them, many statues would never have been recognized for their existence, importance, and beauty.
