French Guiana Collection Trip 2016

In January 2016, Marty Condon and a group of researchers went on a collection trip to French Guiana. The trip yielded the largest collection of flowers to date, which required many hours of work in and out of the field. The specimens collected will be essential in understanding the biodiversity of the unique system that Condon works on.

Cornell Summer Research Institute 2016 (Weeks 1-4)

The 2016 Cornell Summer Research Institute  welcomed it’s student researchers to campus on May 16th.  Already four weeks in , Marty Condon’s Cornell College student research team consisting of Julia Thome, Anne Weitekamp, Andrew Joseph, and Bryan Hernandez are still hard at work.  The team has already met with many outside collaborators to get professional lab training and to converse about personal and professional experiences regarding this project.
